NEC Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an NEC Project Manager to oversee and deliver major construction and infrastructure projects under NEC contracts. 

Key Responsibilities of an NEC project manager
 Managing a broad range of projects, to achieve the best value for the client
 To create and develop the success of projects through a clear strategy and proactive commitment
 Responsibility for managing the client’s expectations in a competitive environment
 Developing ever-stronger client relationships
 To take a key role in delivering project team objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player
 To oversee the complete management of projects, including site inspection, monitoring programme and addressing defects
 To plan, control and deliver projects to a successful conclusion
 To create a team environment in which everyone is committed to producing a quality outcome
 To liaise with other members of the team to ensure consistency of service delivery and to identify opportunities for developing both the quality and profitability of the service
 To ensure that the Director has qualified information on the progress of each project on a regular basis
 To gain the confidence of the client and become the focal point for communication.

Experience required:
 Experience of JCT and other standard forms of contract
 A strong track record in Project Management, demonstrating a progressive career path
 Experience of controlling quality in complex projects.
